Everyone Should Have The Right To Be Miserable

Ahhhh gay marriage..... why the hell is this a "hot topic"? Why are people so concerned with what someone ELSE is doing that our government has to take time to legislate someone's personal business? Let's talk about it.

Look to the person sitting next to you, or (if you are alone reading this) think about your next door neighbor. Unless they are hot and single and you are trying to mingle, do you REALLY give half a shit about what they do with their reproductive system? Do you care about who they decide to wake up to every morning? And if you are really THAT triflin nosey, you need to find a life and have a seat _/  <----- like that one right there. Actually....

OK, religious people, I hear you, "Marriage is a bond between a man and a woman in the eyes of God"..... So atheists get a pass? They don't even believe in God and they get to get married anywhere they please. Even in a church! *insert dramatic gasp* And I nowhere near claim to be a religious person who can quote scripture like it's the latest Beyonce track (I'm spiritual, BIG difference); however, I'm SURE I know that there is a big no-no on judging people somewhere in that good book. Not to mention the people who get married more than they change their underwear....

To give you a better perspective on it, think about the economy. Do you know how FABULOUS these weddings would be? How much money can be poured into our economy from all the money these weddings would provide? I don't know about you, but this sounds like a win.

At the end of the day, to get married, you have contracts to fill out, credit is co-mingled, you need an officiant to declared it, and you need a lawyer to get out of it. Let's be real people, marriage is now a business agreement.

Let's take a more scientific look at this.....

Can't argue with science, right?

I mean come on people, wake up! You don't have to condone or endorse being gay to want to give everyone the right to love and be miserable with who they choose. Less than 100 years ago, you couldn't marry someone who wasn't the same race as you, we must progress as a people!
